Shockwaves-

The annual Kenosha Thanksgiving day race has been cancelled this year but the Shockwaves will keep the tradition going with a Shockwaves mini meet that follows the 2-mile route with a twist…we will stage our start and finish at Simmons Island park with the turn around point at the Kenosha public museum/Civil War Museum.

This event is mostly free and for all Shockwaves and their family members. Runners and walkers welcome.

Entry fee will be an item of canned or dried goods that will be donated to a local food bank from the Shockwaves organization.

No uniforms required at this mini meet, just your best Turkey day costume or Turkey day colors.

More info to come on the full award categories for this event but categories will include, fastest runner dressed as a Turkey, fastest Shockwaves mom or dad, fastest Shockwaves sibling and fastest Shockwaves to run the race carrying a frozen mini pumpkin pie (frozen mini pies provided).
