Shockwaves,

We were just invited to a new meet on Wednesday of this week by a team from the Northern Illinois area. The date of this meet is Sunday October 18th. I’ve put it on the schedule for those Shockwaves interested
in racing back to back days this coming weekend or for those Shockwaves not available to race on Saturday the 17th at the Home School State Championship.

The course for this race is a beautiful 1 mile loop on grass and about 80% of the race is through a wooded course—a true XC race!

There will be a JV and Varsity MS race.

JV races for boys and girls 6th grade and under.

Varsity race for grades 7th and 8th.

The JV race is a 1-mile loop

The Varsity race is 2-loop, 2-mile course.

There will be medals to the top 10 boys/girls in each race.

Cost for this meet is $7.00

I will register our Shockwaves as a team, so please reimburse the $7.00 to Coach Nick or Shannon via cash, check or Venmo no later than race day October 18th.

Please use the RSVP option on this event page to indicate if your Shockwaves runner will attend and race in this event—please indicate Yes or No by Wednesday evening the 14th.
