Shockwaves,

No meet the weekend of the 10th-11th, so we’re taking the opportunity to execute another race simulation on the UW Parkside course. We will race this course again on the 1st of November and it will be the traditional age categories and distances from 2K -
5K. Our time trial will be executed in the same manner.

8&under – 2K
9-10 – 3K
11-12 – 3K
13-14 – 4K
15-18 & Open – 5K

We will decorate the start line with pumpkins and every Shockwaves runner who starts and finishes their respective race distances will take a special time trial pumpkin home.

Shockwaves athletes should wear their uniforms for this event.

Showtime will be 930am for all 4K and 5K runners. Everyone else can showtime at 10am

Schedule of events:

4K/5K – 10:15 (UPDATE 5k will be open to ALL parents and family members 18+ interested)
2K – 10:45
3K – 11:05 (all 3K ages)

Shockwaves Coaches will time and post results from this time trial
event.
