Hi Shockwaves this is the conclusion of our PR virtual meet challenge.
Your virtual events can be contested on Sunday between 8am – 7pm
Here are the rules:
You must compete in the same two event distances you competed in during our first PR virtual meet. I have attached the performance list and times from the last meet for your review and reminder.
Remember to warm up well, perform your dynamic exercises and to rest at least 10-15 minutes between the two event distances you will be running.
Have your parents time you and submit your times along with a picture of you competing in your PR virtual meet event distances. Submit the times and pictures to Coach Freese via text (509-953-3160) or email (YouthKenoshaXC@gmail.com).
Times must be submitted to Coach Freese by 730pm Sunday evening
How to win:
Step 1- Put on your Shockwaves uniform
Step 2- Get out on the track, road or trail
Step 3- Run your buns off!
Step 4- Assuming you gave it your all and left no extra seconds out there—be happy with your results and smile after a job well done!
How to win a medal:
1) Run a time that calculates as the best percentage improvement from virtual meet 1 to meet 2
2) Run the fastest time in your event and age groups
(Age groups for this event 2nd grade and under, 3rd-5th grade & 6th-8th grade) Boys and Girls are combined for this event
3) Run a PR time
I will be at the Parkside outdoor track from
1000-1200 on Sunday. If you come during that time, I will be happy to time you and cheer for you but from a very safe and socially distanced location. Also, if you do come at that time, please be sure to remember you may cheer for any other teammates running but from a safe distance and you must keep a very safe distance away no matter how much you want to hug and squeeze your fellow Lime Green track warriors.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Coach Freese
