Hi Y’all,

I have about 100 things I need to tell you, but I’ve been feeling under the weather all day, so it is going to be an early one for me.

THE TIME HAS COME. At 7pm tonight, I thought, this is about as dark as I can stand. We have made it to the time of the year where practice goes to 7PM.

Monday – UW Parkside Cross Country Course 5:30-7pm

Wednesday – Peorio Park West for KRCo race 1.5 miles. I am trying to talk Coach Stephanie into finding a quiet way to add a little mileage to make it a 3K, but she is resisting. I’ll mention why a 3K later.

Thursday – The Prairie School Meet. This will be a good one with some competitive teams and chip timing. Our only option for that day is racing, and now that we are deep into the season I recommend it. I realize it would mean an early release from school for some, but running is worth it? :-). Coach Tony will be there so we will hang out with his other team as well. First race is 3pm so showtime would be close to 2pm.

Saturday – Warrior Invite Greenfield Park in West Allis. This is a fantastic race and it is the site of the Grade School Challenge next month. I don’t have the times in front of me, but it will definitely be morning. Wisconsin Lutheran has a University meet after us.
